Once upon a time, in this land,

There was a battle between humans and Mononoke spirits

Over the head of the divine beast, Shishigami.

Then comes an encounter in the middle of that tragedy

Between Ashitaka and a girl named San.

San was born from human beings

But raised by the beasts living in the deep forest

She was “Princess Mononoke”.
